HARAM: Pork


PORK - the meat, skin, fat, bone, hair or other tissue of porcine animals such as the domestic pig and the wild boar. Also included are the by-products of pig as well as products derived from them.

Islamic Prohibition against PORK:
Islam strongly forbids eating pork and pig-derived products. Muslims are also prohibited from touching, wearing or using pig-derived products such as boar hair brushes and pig leather.
